Hazards from the air continue even after this catastrophic day –On April 18, 2002 a 67-year-old committed suicide by flying a small plane into the Pirelli skyscraper at Milano. On September 9, 2002, TV station RTL in the Magazin Extra show presented how reporters in mock uniforms reached the cockpit of a passenger aircraft unnoticed with the opportunity of taking control or even stealing it. In January of 2003 a motorised glider was stolen by an armed robber. The pilot circled over downtown Frankfurt and threatened to crash the plane into a house. Are such incidents in air traffic avoidable?Yes!
